For 10 years now, our pals at Nashville Is The Reason have been hosting fantastic emo nights and punk, emo, and hardcore DJ parties, initially as after parties for great events around town, and expanding over the years to host and sponsor concerts of their own (including epic parties at Marathon Music Works, which started as a sort of pop punk karaoke night, and expanded into something of a star-studded punk and emo variety show).
In celebration of their 10th anniversary milestone, the NITR crew are throwing one epic bash tonight, Sept. 13 at Marathon Music Works, featuring performances from Cartel (part of their 20th anniversary tour for breakout debut LP Chroma), The Summer Set, Winona Fighter, and Landon Conrath, with DJ sets from We Are the in Crowd’s Tay Jardine, local emo breakouts Free Throw, and NITR’s own Emo Night Nashville DJs in between performances.
In addition to great performances and DJs (and almost certainly some special guests), expect limited merch, custom cocktails, a photo booth, and more surprises! Things get started early, with DJs beginning when doors open at 4:30 p.m., and tickets are still available here while they last. Even for the Cartel anniversary show alone this show would be a must-see for pop punk fans, but everything else makes it one of the coolest shows of the year!
