[TICKET+ SIGNED VINYL GIVEAWAY] The Rapture w/ The Cribs | Oct. 1 @ Exit/In

Formed in California late ’90s (though most closely associated with New York, where they moved early on and where they broke out as a band), The Rapture were one of the forerunners of the dance punk and post-punk revival that swept the rock scene in the 2000s, first capturing widespread attention with their single “House of Jealous Lovers.” The band went on to release just three LPs- 2003’s Echoes, 2006’s Pieces of the People We Love, and 2011’s In the Grace of Your Love– but nonetheless made a major impact on the indie scene of the aughts, touring and collaborating with other major artists and producers of the era, and landing several huge hits that remain classics.

The group split in 2014, but returned five years later, playing a handful of shows before going on hiatus again during the pandemic. Announced back in the summer, The Rapture has been resurrected once more for a tour of the U.S. and Europe, but this time, only frontman Luke Jenner remains from the band’s original lineup. Still, if you’re itching for some millennial nostalgia, and want to see one of the best dance punk bands of the 2000s, The Rapture are legends in their own right, and the band’s upcoming stop in Music City, Oct. 1 at Exit/In with British indie rockers The Cribs, seems to be their first Nashville appearance in 18 years! Tickets are still available here while they last, but we’re excited to announce that we’re also giving away a pair of tickets and a signed vinyl to one lucky fan! Preview the lineup and enter below.
