Prince Debuts New Single | Could He Be Prepping for a Bonnaroo Performance?
How does this fly so far under the radar? Unlike the David Bowie announcement a couple of weeks ago, the new Prince track “Screwdriver” has barely any press behind it. It certainly doesn’t mean that the new track isn’t full on Prince awesome though. This is the first new music he’s released since his…

Soft Opening, Dirty Dreams, Ttotals | Springwater | Tonight In Nashville
I’m gonna come straight out and say it… sometimes, we all get a little bit too caught up in our dreamy-electro-synth-pop babble, and it’s time to get back to what made you a music fan in the first place. There’s a time when you need to dig out those wax-crusted ear plugs from your…

Rocketown Fires Employee for Promoting Equality
We wanted to present this story as objectively as possible. We’re going by the facts we could gather, and from what we learned from the sources available. We reached out to both Wes Breedwell and Rocketown, and, as of publishing, have not received a statement from either party. Here are the facts: Rocketown is a non-profit,…

TWiN | This Weekend In Nashville | 1.18.13-1.20.13
I don’t even know why we are bothering to write this. Justin Bieber is in town, folks. I know that everyone who reads this little rag will be crammed into Bridgestone Arena on Friday night surrounded by shrieking teenage fans. This is one of the hardest tickets this town has ever tried to get. As…

The Delta Saints release Death Letter Jubilee & Grimey’s In-Store
Nashville’s The Delta Saints have been hard at work. They first hit our radar with their 2009 EP Pray On and their 2010 EP Bird Called Angola, and they somehow slowed down from their incessant touring to get a kickstarter funded full-length together. Death Letter Jubilee releases today, and they are celebrating with us…
