Drkmttr Celebrates 10th Anniversary with Soccer Mommy, NNAMDÏ, The Mall, Ekko Astral, Venus & the Flytraps, B|_ank, More at Drkmttr Fest, Oct. 17 & 18

Preeminent local DIY, all ages venue Drkmttr– one of our favorite show spaces in all of Nashville- is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a second annual Drkmttr Fest this weekend, Oct. 17-19. Boasting an incredibly stacked lineup of both local and national artists, the all ages affair features two days of music, ranging from indie rock to hip hop, punk to synth pop, emo to post-hardcore, shoegaze to experimental, and a whole lot more, plus an official after party, a vendor market and yard sale, food trucks, a full bar, DJs- basically one giant celebration of the local independent scene!

Day one, Friday, Oct. 17, the festival kicks off at 6 p.m., and includes performances from The Mall, Ekko Astral, Venus & the Flytraps, edhochuli, Celltower, and Sharpteethsweet. Day two, Saturday, Oct. 18, begins at 2 p.m., and the lineup features Soccer Mommy, NNAMDÏ, B|_ank, Sour Tooth, Son of the Challenger, Uncommon Side Effects, Ol Blue, and Soundbath with Luke Schneider and Bruce Eruin. Saturday evening, there’s an official after party hosted by LULO and PHAASER at Cafe Babu (1044 3rd Ave), with Blaine Mason, Charlie Conway, Tzimtzum, Gummy Boy, and m@lice Doll. And Sunday, there’s a free community yard sale and vendor market, beginning at noon at Drkmttr.
