[TICKET GIVEAWAY] Bad Suns w/ Yot Club | Sept. 25 @ Eastside Bowl

Formed nearly 15 years ago in their native Los Angeles, while still mostly in their teens, alt rockers Bad Suns drew influence from classic post-punk artists like The Cure and Elvis Costello, fused with modern indie, in shaping their unique sound. The band’s 2014 debut LP, Language & Perspective, immediately captured the attention of a wider audience, and led to festival appearances, and tours with other buzzy rising indie acts of the mid-2010s, like The 1975. Sophomore effort Disappear Here, continued to hone their sound, and subsequent efforts Mystic Truth, in 2019, and Apocalypse Whenever, in 2022 (both released after signing to current label home Epitaph Records), cemented Bad Suns’ legacy as one of the most dependable indie acts of the last decade.

Following the departure of longtime guitarist Ray Libby in 2022, and after an EP, Infinite Joy, in 2023, which felt more introspective and sonically exuberant, Bad Suns returned with fifth album Accelerator last month, building on more than a decade of personal and artistic growth, and leaning into the hooky, dance-pop influence of their prior EP, while still giving it a mature, intimate, and refined sensibility. In support, the band return to Nashville Sept. 25 to headline Eastside Bowl with lo-fi indie pop favorite Yot Club, and tickets are still available here! Or, if you want to try your luck, we’re also giving away a pair of tickets to one lucky winner; preview the performers and enter below.
