3rd Annual Nashville Horror Film Fest Brings Two Full Days of Independent Horror Shorts and Features to Regal Green Hills, Oct. 3 & 4 for FREE

•

Founded by director Wolf Turner and editor, content creator, and musician Chuckie Fuoco, the Nashville Horror Film Festival is a free, all-ages, international celebration of independent horror. Not related to last week’s Nashville Film Festival– though it does take place at the same location, Regal Green Hills– the Nashville Horror Fest began three years ago at New Heights Brewing, expanding last year for a day at New Heights and a day at Regal, and fully moving to Regal for this year’s third annual event.

Largely programmed through submissions and sponsored by independent horror streaming app Screamify, the fest takes place this weekend, Oct. 3 & 4, with the first day made up entirely of dozens of short films, as well as a costume contest, awards ceremony, and vendors. The second day will showcase eight feature films, and will also host an awards ceremony at the end of the night. This festival is all ages (though it is horror, so some discretion is advised), and both days begin at 11 a.m., and will run all day.

While not a ton of info is available about each individual film (these are predominantly small and independent efforts), you can view all of the titles on the full schedule below, and visit fest’s social media links at the bottom for more.
